Hello everyone!

We are waiting in the Tokyo Narita airport to board our flight to Beijing. My sister is already there, so we are looking forward to seeing her soon! Our trip over to Japan was very long, but we did get some sleep and then last night stayed in a beautiful hotel called the Tokyo Conrad (Thanks Wade for the hotel room!) Today we'll fly to Beijing and do some sightseeing, which will continue tomorrow. When we get to Beijing, we'll meet up with the rest of our group (25 other families who are adopting---from our agency). It will be great to finally put faces with the names of all the families we've been communicating with by email for the last couple of years.

Hope all is well---we are excited to be here and can't wait to continue our journey to Leila! It does feel great to at least be on her side of the world (finally!).
