3 more days...

Hello everyone!

We are feverishly packing, planning, and preparing for this amazing adventure we are about to begin. We've been waiting so long, it's hard to believe we are actually ready to go! On Friday we received our itinerary for our trip...here it is:

Wednesday 3/12: Depart Kansas City
Thursday 3/13: Arrive in Tokyo (J and I will stay the night)
Friday 3/14: Fly to Beijing (arrive around 2pm). Today we will tour Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Hutong.
Saturday 3/15: Continue Beijing Tour (The Summer Palace and the Great Wall)
Sunday 3/16: Palm Sunday church service, late afternoon flight to Chengdu
Monday 3/17: GOTCHA DAY! Meet Leila Grace Potocnik!
Tuesday 3/18: Civil Affairs Appointment
Wednesday 3/19-Thursday 3/20: Paperwork, sight-seeing, shopping
Friday 3/21: Flight to Guangzhou
Saturday 3/22: Medical Exam and Paperwork Party
Sunday 3/23: Easter Sunday church service and shopping
Monday 3/24: Consulate Appointment
Tuesday 3/25: Pick up Leila's Visa
Wednesday 3/26: Depart from Guangzhou---Fly home to Kansas City (because of the time change, we will actually arrive on 3/26 as well).

We would specifically ask for prayer for our flights, travel safety, Gotcha Day (for Leila especially!), and the flight home (20+ hours with a 2 year old---need I say more?)
