LOOK who got new glasses!
I can't stand it she's so cute...and so incredibly proud of those new specs.
Then, without me even knowing, Madison got a hold of the camera to do a second photo shoot with Leila Grace. And apparently...Leila was tired of it.
Nice camera work, Maddie. I've always said I couldn't resist a kid in glasses...ridiculous.

Just when I thought she couldn't get any cuter! Can you come back to Texas so I can SQUEEZE her again, which is what I want to do when I look at those pictures! A-dor-a-ble.

Thanks for your sweet comment. I thought Leila had amblyopia (lazy eye) in one eye...my 7 year old had that at age 3, so it looked familiar. Also--a friends' daughter from China also needed glasses at this age because she was running into walls, falling a lot, etc, turns out it was her eyes! Leila is also always running into walls, falling, etc. so I took her in about 3 months ago. Turned out she did have mild amblyopia in one eye, but the bigger concern was astygmatism in both eyes---hence the poor vision and falling/running into things. She is near sighted, so will wear the glasses at all times. Hope that helps! I've missed your blog---come back!!
